Professional Affiliations
Roger is the Executive Director of the Farm Resource Center, which he helped establish in 1985. The Farm Resource Center currently serves rural people through outreach in Illinois.

NARMH Positions and Projects
Roger was the recipient of the Victor I. Howery Award in 1998 and also a participant in the 1st White House Conference on Mental Health.

Rural Mental Health Involvement and Contributions
Roger lives in Southern Illinois with his wife Carole. He has been involved in the provision of mental health services for the past thirty-four years. He believes that mental health services provided by culturally sensitive professionals guided by the APPLE Principle are more successful in promoting long term change for rural individuals needing mental health care.
